Meet your Lawyer

Born and raised in Co. Cork, Ireland, Laura-Claire has been enjoying Canadian life since moving to Montreal, Quebec, in 2005. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she moved to Alberta to pursue her law degree and has called Alberta home ever since.

 

Prior to founding Maher Legal Services, Laura-Claire worked at small law firms in and around Calgary and regional Alberta. Through these opportunities,      Laura-Claire was not only able to gain practical and extensive first-hand experience in diverse practice areas, but was able to appreciate the importance of the lawyer-client relationship and understand both the legal and practical concerns facing her clients.

Laura-Claire founded Maher Legal Services in an effort to bring to her clients conscientious and practical legal advice while offering convenient and cost-effective solutions to fit everyone's needs.

 

Comfortable representing her clients' interests inside and outside of the courtroom, Laura-Claire encourages and engages in alternate dispute resolution wherever possible but is prepared to fight vigorously for her clients' interests in court when necessary.
